Remakes

Do you ever get frustrated with movie remakes. It’s like some studios are afraid of new ideas.

Last night while channel hoping I came across a really bad remake of rocky horror picture show. Now I didn’t watch it all, because, for me, the original was fantastic and can’t be remade but they seem to have tried and I’m assuming failed.

Now between this, ghostbusters, psycho, clash of the titans and many more I’m just worried that in 10 years time Harry Potter and lord of the rings will be remade.

Hopefully not.

Trolls

Took the kids to see trolls.

It’s an enjoyable watch, plenty of laughs with songs that will get stuck in your head for days.

The story telling is pretty good, keeping the kids transfixed and the adults entertained.

I liked it. One of the joys of having kids is able to go to watch cartoons at the cinema in the middle of the afternoon, without looking like a weirdo.

7/10 in my opinion.

Halloween

So the kids have started to decorate the house for Halloween, which is grand, I love this time of year.

What I didn’t love was the fact some one had put their ghost face mask in between the coats on the hat stand.

Freaked me out as I came down the stairs. Heart pounding moments.

Can’t shout at the kids though, love the creativity for where they think a good place for scary things are.

Now you see me 2.

Went to the cinema to see Now you see me 2. Very impressive. I enjoyed the concept and with its many twists and turns you are certainly left guessing. It’s good to see a quality cast make a good movie. So many times have I looked at the cast and thought how could this go wrong and it does. But for this Daniel Radcliffe, Woody Harrelson, Jessie Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, Dave Franco and Mark Ruffalo pull together to make a great movie.

Worth a watch for sure.
